Amsterdam local guide

Raven

Raven comes from the Great White North. Having grown up in Toronto, one of the most multicultural cities in the world, she knew from a very young age she wanted to go out and experience them all first hand. This fascination with the world led her on a path to study history, archaeology, and currently, art conservation where she focuses on built heritage and stone. After traveling to 25 countries and counting, Raven chose to call Amsterdam home because of its fascinating history, beautiful architecture, and ‘gezellig’ way of life. Amsterdam is one giant museum, and every building tells a story more fascinating than the last. It’s the history of these sights, and the stories of the amazing people who helped build and preserve them that makes the city what it is today.

Raven firmly believes Amsterdam is one of the greatest and most liberal cities in the world, and always jumps at the opportunity to tell people about what makes it so special. When not giving tours or feeling up old buildings, you can find Raven lost in a museum, hunting down the best taco in the city, or ranting about archaeology and history on her video blog.
