This market is all about eating, as the majority of its stands serve up ready-to-eat tapas, pastries and snacks. During tapas time (around 10:00 p.m.) Mercado de San Miguel is packed with both tourists and madrileños sipping vermouth and munching on everything from olives to oysters. While it may seem like a tourist trap, there are a number of reasons why the Mercado de San Miguel is worth a visit.

Amazing food using some beautiful fresh ingredients. Make sure you try their wine pairings and also book in advance!

DSTAGE 

Even though it only just recently earned its Michelin star, DSTAGE has rapidly become one of the best restaurants in Madrid. The chef comes from the Basque country in the north of Spain, and cooks up a storm in the kitchen.
