From intellectuals to freedom fighters, there is no doubt that women have transformed the Netherlands into the country it is today. Join us as we explore some of the memorials, locations and statues around Amsterdam that commemorate these great women.

Our special International Women’s Day Tour celebrates the female heroes who have shaped our history!

Be impressed with the intelligence of Aletta Jacobs, who graduated as the first female physician in the Netherlands. Discover the bravery of Dutch communist resistance fighter Hannie (aka the girl with red hair) during World War II.
