  • Roman Cardo Maximus
  • Suq - Covered markets

Our recommendation: Highly recommended to join during your first day in the city!

During this seven hours tour by foot, you will get to feel the different atmospheres in all 4 quarters of the Old City: Armenian, Christian, Jewish & Muslim. Mixing it up between "Must See sights", such as, The Western/Wailing Wall, the Temple Mount (where the Dome of the Rock & El-Aksa mosque are located), Church of the Holy Sepulcher & the Via Dolorosa, as well as off the beaten track gems: hidden alleyways, secretive rooftops for fantastic views & more.

You will also have the opportunity to visit the must see local markets, enjoying the colors, smells & of course the flavors – which for many is a true culinary highlight! If time, interest & energy permit we could also include 1 or 2 of the Archeological parks, The Mount of Olives or perhaps the New City. As far as the "extras" go, these things could be determined as we go along.

This tour covers:
  • All four Old City quarters: Jewish, Muslim, Christian & Armenian,
  • The Western (Wailing) Wall
  • Visit the hidden rooftops of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher
  • Jaffa Gate
  • David’s Citadel
  • Roman Cardo Maximus
  • Hurva (ruined)
  • Synagogue
  • Suq – Covered market
  • Excavations of ancient Jerusalem
  • Dome of the Rock
  • Al-Aqsa Mosque and Mount of Olive

Our recommendation: Highly recommended to join during your first day in the city! This is a tour where you fully immerse yourself in the history of Jerusalem. Should you have limited time on your agenda, don't miss the opportunity to discover the city and enjoy our Appetiser City Tour (above)

What do you want to do after the tour? We highly recommend you leave yourself sometime after the tour to visit the Mahne Yehuda Market in the city center. It’s a busy local food market during the day and turns into a busy and energetic nightlife area at night, with great restaurants and cool bars.

What makes Jerusalem the spiritual center of the world for Jews, Muslims, and Christians alike? During this four-hour walking tour, your Private Tour guide will help you understand Jerusalem's 5000-year-old past and visit the sites caught in the story that has included centuries of peace and worship, as well as controversy, bloodshed and war.

Whereas other routes discuss the Temple Mount from afar, on this tour you'll be taken through security to this holiest of sites. You will  hear of the beginnings of Israel, the site where Abraham binds his son and where King Solomon’s famous first temple was raised. See the golden Dome of the Rock shrine, marking the site where the prophet Mohammed ascended to heaven, and enter the Church of the Holy Sepulchre where, for over 1500 years, a church has stood on the rocky hill of Calvary – the site of Jesus' crucifixion and burial.

This tour covers:
  • Up top on the Temple Mount
  • Inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre
  • Dome of the Rock
  • Al-Aqsa Mosque
  • Hill of Golgotha
  • The Western (Wailing) Wall
  • Grave of Adam
  • Follow the stations of the Cross – the Via Dolorosa
  • Discovery of the True Cross
  • The hidden sections of the Western (Wailing) Wall
  • Mount Zion and Zion Gate
  • Room of the Last Supper
  • King David’s Tomb

Our recommendation: This tour experience is not political. It is appreciated that you leave your prejudices behind as you explore the amazing history of the Holy City and its earthly sights, which have inspired three of the most widely-practised religions in the world today.

Please note:

1. Visitors are expected to dress modestly when entering the Temple Mount; shorts and sleeveless tops are not allowed as shoulders and knees must be covered at all times.
2. Political and/or religious material such as Bibles are not permitted on Temple Mount.
3. Electronics such as tablets and laptops are not permitted on Temple Mount.
4. When booking your tour: Temple Mount is closed to non-Muslims on Friday and Saturday. The area may also be closed during the week due to security reasons or public holidays.

The Mount of Olives has been an important burial place since Canaanite times. Kingdoms and empires have come and gone and left their marks on this legendary hill. Today, it is an incredibly popular vantage point with simply breathtaking views of the holy sites of Jerusalem’s Old City.

Pilgrims are drawn to sites important to all three Abrahamic faiths, in particular those associated with Jesus’ last week on Earth and where the End of Days was described to the Disciples. For Jews and Muslims alike, the Mount of Olives is where the gates of heaven will open up on Judgement Day.

This three hours tour takes in these profound ideas and gives you time to enjoy the views and hidden treasures scattered around the hill - and of course tells you the legend of those 2000-year-old olive trees!

This tour covers:
  • Amazing views of the Temple Mount, the Old City, and the city walls
  • Garden of Gethsemane
  • Jewish Cemetery
  • Church of All Nations
  • Dominus Flevit
  • Lord's Prayer
  • Mary's Tomb
  • Chapel of the Ascension
  • Church of Pater Noster

Our recommendation: This tour requires no special dress code but please note that to get into the churches there is a 14 NIS entrance fee to pay directly at the churches entrance and 10 NIS as transportation ticket to get up the hill to pay on tour date. Please note the churches close around 5pm, therefore we would highly recommend to start the tour no later than 1pm.
