You can do it on your own or with your Private Tour guide (check below our St. Pauli and Harbor Tour).

What do you want to do after the tour? If you are planning to visit the most popular museum in Germany “Miniatur Wunderland” we can organise that the tour finishes in this area. The tour usually ends within walking distance from the Hafen and the Elbe Tunnel. If you feel like crossing the river you can do so and experience the wonderful views from the other side of the river which is well worth it !

On this walking tour, we examine Hamburg’s world famous red light district stretches along either side of the Reeperbahn, the charmingly kitsch backbone of the proudly alternative St. Pauli. The tour can be two hours long or you can make it’s full three hour version and include a ferry ride.

Hamburg’s relationship with St. Pauli is complex. It’s raw (and sometimes raunchy) edge stands in contrast with the image the rest of the city exudes, yet is an integral part of what makes Hamburg the much-loved city it is. New buildings and renovations compete with the thousands of residents who fight to keep the character of their colorful neighborhood.

St. Pauli draws millions of visitors a year and makes a massive contribution to the economy and fame of the city. Take a look beyond the tabloid headlines and you’ll find a living community struggling to defend its identity and dignity in the face of poverty and property developers.

This tour covers:
  • The port of Hamburg
  • Landungsbrücken landing stages
  • St. Pauli football club
  • The Reeperbahn pleasure mile
  • Germany’s biggest red light district: Herbertstraße & Große Freiheit
  • The Davidwache police station
  • The Nobistor gatepost
  • Beatles-platz
  • Altona fish market
  • The Millerntor Gate
  • U-434 Soviet spy sub
  • Hans-Albers-Platz
  • (Optional) ferry ride through the harbor to St. Pauli

Our recommendation: Although this tour may be booked at any time of the day, we would recommend you to book it in the afternoon to get the best possible experience of St. Pauli District!

What do you want to do after the tour? This tour ends at St. Pauli District, where you may enjoy a large variety of pubs and bars where to taste some late afternoon beers! The route is also within walking distance from the Haffen and the Elbe Tunnel. Where you can experience wonderful views from the other side of the river.

Hamburg is well renowned for its nightlife and no stay would be complete without a trip to the infamous Reeperbahn. From rock 'n' roll to luxury lounges, from thumping clubs to the home of The Beatles to the Red Light District; on the NEW Hamburg Pub Crawl you will see it all!

This tour covers:
  • 5 cool bars and hot clubs
  • Free shots in every bar
  • Drink specials
  • Free club entry & VIP entrance
  • Professional party guides to show you Hamburg’s nightlife!

Our recommendation: A night out is better when going out with a group of friends! If you are travelling alone or in a group, we would highly recommend you to join our regular Pub Crawl with other travellers looking for fun!

Should you be travelling with more than 15 people and prefer a Private Pub Crawl with a guide just for your group, we would be delighted to organise it just for your group!

Please note all participants must be 18 years old, with valid photo ID to join this night out. Please bring valid Photo I.D. SANDEMANs NEW Europe Tours supports the responsible enjoyment of alcoholic beverages.
