My name is Paloma and I’m a Peruvian Art Historian and painter. I’ve lived, worked and studied in a few places around the world: Lima, La Paz, Buenos Aires, Salamanca, Sienna and finally Paris where I moved in 2014.
I got my degree in Cultural Heritage Sciences at Università degli studi di Siena with a thesis on one of my passions: Colonial art from the Cuzquenan School. Living in Siena I organized various body- painting performances throughout the years as well as personal exhibits in showrooms throughout the city and in other parts of Italy. Always avid for learning and discovering new interests I completed internships in both the Restoration laboratory of the Pinacoteca Nazionale di Siena (Medieval and modern art museum of Siena) and in the research and preparation of a series of conferences on Codicology and History of manuscripts.
Itching for new horizons, I’m currently doing my Master in Medieval art history at the Sorbonne, and looking for new excuses to research and learn more about this beautiful city and pass on its rich history and culture!
