We are currently seeking a motivated graduate with at least 1-3 years experience in HR and Recruitment to support our international HR Department in London or Berlin. The ideal candidate will have the drive and determination to work in dynamic and face paced environment, working with work colleagues from around the world.

About the role

The role of the HR Assistant is challenging, varied and very hands-on. The HR Assistant will support the HR team with a diverse project-related work-streams, and to ensure projects are effectively delivered within agreed timelines. There will be a particular key focus on supporting Employee Relations and Recruitment.

The role will include:
 
  • Act as the main point of contact for employee queries, dealing with or escalating these in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Talent acquisition - supporting the recruitment and selection process. Managing communication with candidates and scheduling interviews
  • Manage the on boarding process - new starter documents are filled out, right to work checks are completed and inductions are completed
  • Ensure the HR system and employee individual files are kept up to date and accurate
  • Payroll and benefits - supporting the HR team in the monthly employee cost reports
  • Support the HR team with employee relation cases
  • Manage the annual and probation review trackers, assisting Managers with these processes where necessary

About you

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities and skills:
 
  • Ability to work to collaborate across cross-functional teams and projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum 1-3 years experience in Recruitment, Human Resources or Employee Relations in Germany
  • Knowledge in German employment law
  • Educated to university level, ideally in HR or Business Administration
  • Ability to prioritize task and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Possess an eye for detail and accuracy
  • High energy, motivation, drive and enthusiasm to deliver excellent results
  • Excellent spoken and written English and German
